Garvey’s Wives(2015): Dahlia Harris

A chronicle of the contribution of Marcus Garvey’s two wives – Amy Ashwood and Amy Jacques – to his campaign for human and civil rights. GARVEY’S WIVES unveils the personal and professional struggles of both women to maintain their own voice while advancing the cause of African Americans around the globe.

Ol’ Fyah Stick (2015): Dahlia Harris

It’s a tale of old love rekindled, the power of familial ties plus a dash of scandalous flirtations. Widower Joseph Moore wants to get married to his domestic helper Betty. That he and Betty were school sweethearts and have been carrying on secretly for years, makes it complicated. It gets even more complexed as Joseph needs to come clean in order to secure the blessings of his uptight and daughter Margaret. Throw in the meddlesome security guard Delroy who has his own sights set on Betty, then it all gets turned upside down!

Across the Line (2014): Dahlia Harris

Diverse perspectives on the West Indies Rebel Tour to South Africa, through the lens of four characters – a soon to be retired cricketer, a young upstart rearing to replace him, an aging groundsman and a lover of the sport grown up on West Indies glory. As the practice session at the cricket field unfolds, we witness the impact of the tour on the individual and national psyche and understand why some of those wounds are yet to be healed.

An outrageously hilarious gospel comedy revue. God Go Wid Yuh! is a two hour fusion of sketches, songs and movement offering delightful commentary on the social, cultural and political issues affecting Christians in Jamaica.   Through an array of extremely colourful characters, the show provides an opportunity for laughter, reflection and discussion topped with a few hand clapping-feet stomping-sing along-moments.

Victoria Speid, a talented high school sprinter from rural Jamaica, has catapulted to national fame based on her exploits on the track. When the small town girl faces big time pressure to always be the first to the line, the temptation to enhance her natural ability rears its ugly head.  Can Victoria’s love for the sport overcome the need to win? Drugs in Sports is the central theme of this drama.
