The Goodmans have just moved into their lavish dwelling in their final step up the long ladder of social eminence. A major obstacle presents itself in the form of their overly friendly neighbours Minnie Barr and her children – Candy and Ivor. Minnie’s tastes for the loud and vulgar clash with the Goodmans desire for the quiet and refined, and as both families unleash a battle of epic proportions to be the last neighbour standing, they find that they have more in common than they dare to admit.
